I have also had bad service from some Audi dealers, but I have found the one which gives me a great service and I have ordered all my company cars via them with no trouble for the past 7 years. I have a new company car every 12 months so far 7 orders spot on

Ok good news for your company! You are a long term customer who needs to be kept sweet, it is in their interest! What about the ordinary punter who walks off the street and wants to pay cash!!! Spill the beans who are you dealing with so we can hear both sides of the story?

I nominate my Audi dealer and pay in cash (Company Cheque) . No other driver gets there car from there. I also Purchased my TT back in 1999 from them with my money. I do not speak to anyone in Fleet!!!

Listers Audi in Coventry is who I deal with all the sales guys there seem switched on. I even purchased my wife SEAT Ibiza from there group also in Coventry

I think we're all more interested who you've an issue with? :(

The cloth alcantara is easily solved. You reject the car, they tell you to keep the one you've got until the replacement arrives. Therefore you get a 59 plate MY2010 car for less money and you also get a few months free motoring. Oh and they should refund all your money except the deposit until what you ordered turns up.

Easy.

Mistakes happen. It's how they resolve it that matters ;)

Having had experience of a wide range of manufacturers and dealerships, you are very reliant on the actual people employed by said dealers.

On shopping for our A4 (retail buy), I visited 4 dealers and the response ranged from extremely helpful, digging out specs etc. (this was pre-launch) to accusatory....'Very bad repair job on that front end shunt on your Golf.....what front end shunt, you supplied this car new?.....oh sorry sir, our mistake...:zx11:.

On a positive note, ironically, I struck lucky with my local dealer in Warrington who has moved mountains to sort out issues/upgrades for me. So they'll get all my service work.

Must also admit Audi UK have been good but I have been lucky enough to get good back up also from VW UK.

Now, if only we could get the same for our Golf from the VW dealer....:(

Coventry are very good. I've used them for years. When they had my B6 in for a multitronic box replacement they were superb.

What would be really helpful is a database of Dealers to be avoided or recomended!

Coventry OK----- Salesman ??? is knowledgeable and helpful.
Warrington OK--- Salesman ??? needs pointing in the right direction but fair.
Highland Audi Wnak--- Sales Team Dodgy.

See we could save loads of disappointment and stress!!:approve:

That is a good idea database of good & Bad dealers I think both in terms of Aftersales and Sales :approve:
