Hi

I will be a first time Audi owner when I pick up my A4 from the dealer on Saturday. The car is a heavily spec'ed "approved used" 2.7TDI SE, is there a way to get hold of the build details on the car from when it was built at the factory. I want to know exactly what the spec is as there are so many options some of which are not obvious to the untrained eye.

The spec that I do know is;

2008 A4 2.7TDI SE multitronic (5K miles on the clock)
Lava Grey
Black Milano Leather
Heated Front Seats
SatNav
Symphony Radio with 6CD changer
B&O Sound System
Bluetooth
Audi Music Interface
Audi Hill Hold Assist
Audi Side Assist
Audi Lane Assist
Audi Drive Select (not sure if it is the full package, how can I tell?)
Rear Parking Sensors
Adaptive Cruise Control
Xenon Plus Headlights with LED DRL

Have a look in the original service handbook for the car, there hopefully will be the main codes from the factory build, then just go to the Igor website and tap them in.

Or alternatively go to the Audi Uk website and configure an A4 with the same spec and at the end try and print it. It will give the codes that are used but will be from the current model, but very little has changed.

So I picked up the A4 last Saturday and sure enough there are codes in the front of the service book but they are not much use as apart from SatNav nothing else is mentioned.

You could always give Audi UK a ring on 0800699888 and give them your reg number. They will have all the spec codes on there computer system.
