Hi I’m new on here, was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction as I’m having some trouble with my Audi a3 1.8t sport 03 plate.
When running from cold the car tends to stutter and run rough, especially when on an incline the car has delayed acceleration and takes a while to kick in. I've noticed that when I start the ignition the revs are quite high normally 1.5 and have occasionally touched 2.
Every morning I reverse off my drive and have to go up a slight incline on my way to work and this is often when I have the problem, it is becoming quite annoying now and has started to become more noticeable on the flat. Once the car has got going I don't have any other problems the car drives fine. It only occurs in low revs from cold.
I have tried disconnecting the MAF sensor but the problem still existed. I'd really appreciate any feedback as to what you think the problem might be.
