Audi A3 2004 Changing Gear Knob

Hi, I would be very grateful if anyone could send me instructions of how to change the Gear Knob on a 2004 A3.

I need to know if i have to take the plastic surround off or just try and squeeze the gaiter out from inside it?

the gaiter and gear knob comes of complete i think

unclip the gaiter and the plastic surround then lift up the gaiter and unclip the clip located under the gear knob..
