Hi guys, just seems that whener i sort somethin on my car, sometin else goes wrong :zx11:

Just wondering if anyone can work out this whining noise..Just started this week but TODAY it has got louder..
When im driving you can hear it,but soon as i dip the clutch pedal,it goes.
I was parked up at a mates house, well say about 3 houses away and we could both hear it
(Hope you can hear it)

Im hoping its not the cambelt or the gearbox whining..

4 weeks ago,we replaced the clutch as it was slipping like mad,we also replaced the gear selector as i couldnt get 5th or 3rd..
Since then the car has been fine as it should, but like i say Now,im getting this whining noise..If i can hear it 3 houses away,im sure the public can hear me coming lol

carnt make the noise out,it sounds like a train going past,is it a whinning noise or a loud rattling noise that dissapears when you dip the clutch ?

ooops ! i suppose you got the release bearing in properly when you put the clutch in if you did it sounds like you got input bearing problems or a bearing somewhere in that box that wants to empty that wallet you have ..

well now you say that, the release bearingthat came with the clutch,we didnt put back in..The guy who did it put my old 1 back in without realising :s
Im going to get it sorted next few days and swap it..Just hope it is that and not the box bearings :s

gotta be worth a try before the expense of a box rebuild or s/h box
