Three problems with my year old A4 -
After lubrication failed, the front CV boots have had to be replaced because of a scraping noise on full lock at low speed
The black plastic cover on the boot strut has shattered twice; now the boot closes with a very non-Audi twanging spring noise
The doors are not properly adjusted and it makes the panels look different colours; Audi say they would need to put it on a jig to make it any better!
Comments please

Mine has done the same but not yet had it in for repair. I have also got the vibration / rattle that sounds like it is coming from the drivers side dashbboard speaker area (worse when travelling on anything that isn't a really smooth road) and rattling front windows on both sides at the front. Car is just coming up to 8 months old.

spray some clear silicon spray or wd40 on the seal that seals the front door to the back door (its located on the top half of the back door) and the window rattle goes away

OK will give it a go. Does it work for the dashboard rattle as well - has anybody got a fix for that?
Cheers,
Andy
