Fault code - P0420

A big Hello to all, i am new to this site and thought i would seek others opinions.

I have the EMS ( engine managment system ) light on for quiet some time and having got it cheked via RAC got the Fault code P0420 - suspets Oxygen sensor or Catalyst to be replace. Have been driving is for about 4000 miles since and fault and drives good as before but my MOT is nearing and am just wondering how expensive wud it be to get it done...:confused:and thought i would ask if someone knew how to turn it off free of charge (tight git). :Blush:

plus one more thing, if someone knows any AUDI specialist near stone, Staffordshire it wud be much appreciated ----

if the fault code is p0420, a simple erasure of the eml light wont get rid of the fault, as the cheaper option i would have a look at getting the o2 (lambda) sensor replaced 1st, the specialist your after can be found here http://www.bvrautomotive.co.uk/
