Cleaning the Soft top / Hood / Roof 04 A4 Cab

Hi

It's a red roof, in pretty good nick, but would welcome some advice on the best products and methods for giving the soft top a good clean up, and if there is any waterproofing to do afterwards. Thanks.

I tried the Autoglym kit, got it about 50% better but I'm not very patient. I've heard that a jetwash is good (but not recommended).
