Hi all, I'm a 45 year old bloke who loves tinkering with cars and I've just taken ownership of a 1988 VW Transporter which has been converted into a camper van. It's a project for my dad and I to restore to its former glory :nervous:. We have done a bit of work on it already and today are going to check out and service the brakes before moving on to the engine.
It's my first VW :o but I hope that won't be held against me. My other motor is an Octavia. I'm hoping to pick up some info, help where I can and generally enjoy the craic on the forum.
