Hi there! Do S-line executive stereo systems have SD card slots?

Yes...

Audi Symphony radio, with front-loading MP3-compatible 6-CD changer, colour centre
console screen, SD memory-card reader and AUX-IN socket in centre console

I have an S-line exec and don't have any SD card readers. I have AMI and also SAT Nav,

Maybe that all results in no SD card readers

Sat nav deletes the SD card slot - I found this out to my cost when I turned up to collect my car a while back equipped with the SD cards form my old Audi and then found I had no SD card player!!

Surely satnav doesn't remove the SD reader.

The May 2009 A4 spec (at least in the UK) says

HDD Satellite Navigation with MMI 3G

3rd generation MMI system including single CD/DVD player, 2 FM tuners, high resolution (800x400) 7" colour TFT display, 2 SD card readers and 40GB hard drive, 10GB of which can be used to
store up to 4,000 songs. HDD Navigation functionality includes advanced speech recognition, 3D and topographical mapping display and advanced 3D building display (with this feature installed,
the MMI controls move from sound system head-unit to around the gear lever).

or is that just MMI 3G? Isn't that the only sat-nav now?

Only on MY10 A4's.
MY08/09 A4's will have the 2G system.

The 2G MMI (i.e. the sat-nav that came with the 2008/9 spec cars) didn't have an SD card reader but the new 3G one does. Other changes include a dvd-player instead of a 6-disc cd changer and a hard drive for the sat-nav data (with approx. 10GB spare for your own music n stuff) instead of a dvd. Oh and a high-res screen with LED backlighting, better integrated AMI, directional cursor nipple thingy on the MMI control wheel and full voice control as standard.
