I cannot believe the number of close shaves I have had turning right at mini roundabouts since getting the car. It happened to me again today. With my indicator on, signalling right, traffic coming towards me sometimes just doesn't stop. I think it has something to do with the SE's DRL's and how the indicator replaces some of the DRL when flashing.:zx11:

I get the impression that some people just don't see it.

Has anyone else had this experience?

It is just the bad drivers on the road. I appear to have a constant stream of near misses through other people's apparant lack of road knowledge.

I just followed everybody elses lead and stopped indicating at Islands, seams to work. Bascically if no one knows what your doing they give you more room.

In London I find indicators just tend to confuse people.

Heh, that's quite funny.

Sadly it isn't just near misses for me, I've been taken out - they were coming right at me, so the xenon / angry lights didn't make any difference :(

Ironically I posted this thread at lunchtime as it happeed when I popped out for lunch, I couldn't believe it when it happened to me again on the way home. I stopped a couple of inches from the guys side door as he looked at me as to say "who you you think you are, usiung the rounadout before me"

I looked around at the other drivers on the slip roads and lots were shaking their heads......maybe I am just unlucky...
