View Full Version : Options - Rear Screen Entertainment
Just ordered my 2.0 TDi SE Exec, including the Rear Screen Ent system. Just found out that headphones don't come with the system! Surely the noise distraction of, potentially, 2 different kids films is a driver's hazard? Can anyone shed any light on the system and whether any compatible IR headphones are available?
Also, does it include remotes (I believe they were specified but I cannot find where that was)?

Blimey! I didn't know anyone had ordered it. They are basically two standalone portable DVD players bolted to the back of the seats. I'd rather pay half that and get something from Argos! :(
p.s. I'm disappointed by their offering especially considering 3G MMI can now play DVD's and this would have been great to feed the rear screeens
I knew they were a little more (cost wise) than an Argos job but I wanted the security of attachment to the seat but flexibility to use them out of the car. I actually think they are a good compromise between headrest inset screens and Argos purchases but they are overpriced. I agree that it seems strange not to get the 3G MMI to feed the screens.
Anyone out there actually had these and used them yet?

Can you post some pics of your car? I'm just ordering in Aruba blue so it'll be good to convince me it's a good choice ;)
No pics yet, mine's still on order. I didn't like Aruba Blue in the pdf but then saw one in the showroom and changed my mind. I still think black and sliver are perfect for the A4 but I wanted something a little different. Besides, it's the one thing the wife wanted an input on!!!
Deep Sea Blue - it's by far the best colour. I can't help it if everyone else on the planet is wrong :)
