Does anyone have any advice as to how to remove a scratch from a windscreen. I think that a piece of grit or something must have got trapped in the wiper which has swept over the window and produced the scratch. I have tried Turtle Wax glass polish which hasn't made a difference so I'm looking for some advice please. The only good thing about it is that the scratch is on my wife's Punto and not on my Audi!

Removing a scratch from glass is a long laboroius job, but it can be done. Forget Turtle Wax - this is effectively a glass cleaning product.

You'll need a product called cerium oxide. It can be bought just as a powder, but you're probably better off with a kit, including pads, etc.

Effectively you apply the cutting compound to the scratch and using an electric drill with a felt cutting pad, work the solution into the scratch, to polish it out.

Kit comes with instructions.:D
