Was thinking about whether to bother with mudflaps or not. What looks best...Mudflaps...No Mudflaps...or Mudflaps just on the front?

What colour car you going for??
I like the look of the flaps on them... for some reason makes it look even lower!

Not a big fan of the mudflaps, the A4 isn't a rally car and doesn't carry them off as well as Impreza/Evo's

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! :aargh4::aargh4::aargh4:
Don't do it, don't put mudflaps on. How to wreck an A4 in one easy go!
Its maybe not the right comparison, but would you put mudflaps on a R8?
Of course you wouldn't!
Don't do it!

And, in the interests of balance, I have to say that the mudflaps are not very large and actually look, IMPO, rather good on my SE. Quite discrete and I can vouch for their effectiveness having followed a flapless car down a road with large loose chippings and seen the painful effects on its paintowork.. And as we own our car, protecting it is of more than passing interest.
IMPO, you can't compare the A4 to the R8, simply not in the same league and fulfilling completely different roles as the A4 is, whisper this, a family saloon.
And as for only rally cars having mud flaps......if only all the boy racer scoobies did have them!:biglaugh:

I'd say no. Completely ruin the look of the car in my opinion. If they made it look better then believe me Audi would put them on as standard. Each to their own though!

I've got the mud flaps on my car, but i'm going to remove the rears and leave the front mud flaps on, they are very discreet, and will protect the sides.

I'll be fitting these to my A4 when I get it...
I fitted mud flaps to my golf and really liked it... Others didn't, but then it was my car...

Hi, just got to say if you need Mud Flaps why not order an allroad? I mean an S-Line is meant to say SPORTY!! Mud Flaps on the other hand bring to mind people sticking there hands up animals bottoms or pensioners (not that I mean sticking a hand up a pensioners rearguardaction, ooherr! fnarr) on the other side as a mature person, I can see the economic benefits in the long run. Stonechips etc. But lets get realistic it is down to personal choice at the end!

Like you say Martin, everyone to their own ...
If YOU like 'em fit 'em, it don't matter what anyone else thinks!
PS I've found out that when you ask peoples opinions on here, some take it all to personnal. After all it is you car and you can do what the hell you like to it! :D

I havent got them, but I wish i had opted for them. To at least try and stop some the crap and tar spots that gets on the paint work. Spent hours recently trying to get it all off

Agree with all the recent posts that it really is all down to personal choice. Heck, if we all liked the same thing, life would be very, very boring and once you've handed over the money, the car is yours to do with what you like.
One thing is clear, with all these permutations, not a lot of 'standard' zero option A4s around...:biglaugh:
I'd love to see some pics of different models with, without, without rear, with front... one on the front, one on the back, swap 'em over... all different combo's
I cant say ive seen one with mudflaps, but after all this discussion ... i want to.

Hijack time!
The brilliant red A4 looks a lot better with the 19" 7 arm double spoke alloys, but I suppose I would say that! :Blush2: :D
