Spare tyre balanced?

is the spare tyre already balanced? I can see metal things stuck on the inside of the alloy but they don't look like weightings that I have seen before on wheels. There is one about an inch from the inside and another about 4 inches in, just rectangular things.

Probably is balanced so. If the spare is an alloy they don't use the old style weights. Is could be just lead stuck onto the rim.
