Bio-diesel, big NO!
See here (http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=67130).
Sounds like a nice car, happy motoring! :)

But the OP's car is fully endorsed by Audi for B100 to DIN EN 14214. In the days when the car was new, Audi even extolled the virtues in the Owner's manual.
I think it was around 2003 when models were introduced that were not compatible due to having DPFs and by 2005, no new models were approved.
I think the reason they don't approve this B30 that Morrisons sells is that it is made from FAME (animal fat), whereas when Audi/VAG originally approved the use of B100 in some cars, it was generally made form RME (rapeseed) and that is what was specifically approved.

In that case the OP must check the ID label in the spare wheel well to see if his car has the RME approved parts as stated in A8 Tech's links. To the OP, if you see the code 2G0 then your car will run on RME, however that doesn't mean to say it is safer than petrol. It isn't.
