More Chrome! - Interior Parts now

I'm thinking of retro fitting some of the passat CC parts detailed below to add some subtle touches to my interior.

I gave the part numbers to my local VW garage today but they couldn't confirm if they were the chrome parts as shown in the links below, their system only described them as simple switches!

They also said that the parts are non-refundable as they are electrical parts so I was a bit reluctant to order them today... as if they were the wrong ones I would be stuck with them...

Has anyone fitted these to their B6's and ordered them from VW successfully?

Prices seem steep for not alot of chrome, Personally i wouldnt bother, there are some nice Chrome surrounds for the climate control buttons listed below:

then click on the VW section, then Passat B6, then interior and its the billet aluminium rings for the climatronic.

I certainly wouldn't want any more - there are times when the sun hits the chrome etc. round the gearlever and the reflection is blinding:(

Might be ok on the vertical fittings though, and they do look good.

182_blue (Shawn) did exactly this to his Mk5 GTI Ed30 and IIRC they were all Passat highline parts.

true they are a bit pricey, VW were selling them at about £25 per part but I always return my car to stock after selling so hopefully I would make a good portion of my investment back on ebay.

I've seen the climate surrounds too, still deciding about those.

interesting, the sun has started to shine properly this week, I will see what its like on the gear lever
