Views on 2.0FSI A4 Avant

Hi,

I am currently looking at purchasing an estate car due to increase in family size.

Have been offered a 53 plate 2.0FSI manual A4 Avant SE at a reasonable price.

I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on this engine/combination? Are they reliable or are there any known issues I should be aware of?

The 150bhp unit is not bad... but a diesel would be the better option and if i had to rebuy i would do just that..

it all comes down to what is the right price for you.

x2 for a diesel. More torque, more tuning potential (if required!), however, no nice petrol revving sound. Depends on what floats your boat. The 2.0 petrol & 1.9TDI 130bhp are broadly similar for road tax, I expect the V6 TDi will be £50-60 more a year.
