seen the car of my dreams (A4 3.0 sport cab) but it has a small 2" long deep scratch on the front wing (through to the white undercoat it looks like) and a small stone chip on the bonnet that could blister, the car is dolphin grey wheres best to go to get it done, as I've never had any bodywork done before, main dealer or any bodywork place?

also, any idea what its likely to cost?

I've just used ChipsAway for mine and had better results than the bodywork done by the main dealer recently - the colour match is miles better - even after I let the dealer have 3 shots at the work they did (and they got the paint manufacturer in to assess and promptly told me my car must have been resprayed on just one half as it's a different colour on one side to the other - cobblers!)

I only had stone chips (one was down to the metal and was grinning with rust) done and a scratch polished out - but that was £56 inc vat and took about an hour. Their price to repaint the whole wing had I needed it to remove the stone chip was £140.

Hope that gives you some indication.

Cheers,
Dan.
