My car is B6 '03. 1.9tdi 130 hp multitronic gearbox. I've noticed lately some strange sound when I start to move slowly forward or reverse (without pressing gas pedal). Sound is similar when ABS is activated braking on the snow or icy surface. I cant describe it better. When I start to move I'm holding my foot on brake slightly and feel the vibration when sound is heard. Car does not slow down or anything like that just sound is heard and felt vibration on brake pedal. Any ideas?

A dirty or dull sensor triggering the ABS at very slow speed. This will not show up as a fault code and needs to be analysed by watching the ABS sensors in Measuring Blocks 08 Display Group 001 to see which one drops out before the others at slow speed. Then that sensor can then be checked and cleaned as well as the trigger ring or replaced if necessary. If you have had a CV boot done recently, it is a good bet it is the ring on that CV is greasy and dirty.

Thanks, I'll try to clean those sensors! Are they on front wheels only or on all 4 of them?
