Hi,
I have an A4 1.9 TDI Sport (2002), the turbo was whistling lately but before i could get it checked it blew. Was on the Motorway and had a total loss of power, no smoke though, drove it carefully to the next exit to get it off (Wrong decision I Know), white smoke started pouring out, got it switched off straight away. I fitted a good condition second hand turbo and car is back on road driving, but not without problems, when starting cold its like starting a tractor, churns a bit and fills the street with white smoke, a few revs and drive for a little and the smoke is gone and car performs fine once warmed up fully. If after a drive i let it idle and take over running it will after a while return to the smoking. Any ideas??? :1zhelp:
