There is £50 difference between the PI and Eibach products. Anybody used them and what would be the recomendation?

Nothing wrong with PI springs. They don't have the motorsport backing experience of the Eibach but they are both CNC formed to ensure same sizes/lenghts. The Eibach have a more progressive spring compression so they feel much more like OEM but PI will give a slightly harsher ride. I had them on me a6 v6 tdi and they made the car handle really well especially at high motorway speeds(impressive for such a big and heavy car!). They worked well with the factory heavy duty sport shocks. You have to replace the helper springs/bump stops as well with the corect genuine sport items... If you can stretch the budget, buy the Eibach, if not the PI are good enough. The thing is Eibach wont lower too much 20-30mm at most compared with factory springs. Here is mine lowered...

What are bump stops?
My motor is an SE and I want it lowered so that new 18" wheels won't look stupid. I'm thinking that 20 or 30mm might just do the trick and I won't need to replace too much apart from the springs.
what do you reckon?
