back bonnet not oppening

hey guys. sorry dont knwo the correct terminology. but the back bonnet dont seem to open. I have to keep using my keys and not the electric thing thats in place. I have Audi a4 54 reg. can someone advice what i can do to solve this and stop me having to use keys all the time

Do you mean the boot (or trunk if you're from over the pond)? :confused::confused:

lol sorry yeh its boot. i was typing booth but couldnt find nothing but spelt it wrong so yeh the boot. its intermittent at times it works and at times it dont ..realy bugs meee..

Could be a number of things. The microswitch which control the lock, or the wiring. The best plan of action would be to have a fault code read.

Yep, or get a cable from Gendan (http://www.gendan.co.uk/) and the software yourself from Ross Tech. Will save you a lot in the long run.
