Hi all,
I've got an A4 cab with a blue roof, can anyone reccomend a cleaning agent to remove the mildew.
I've read that Renovo are a good brand, any ideas which one I need to buy?
Thanks!

I have not tried Renovo yet. I'm using Autoglym. My roof has never had mildew so I don't know how it works on that, but I clean the roof 3 times last year and it stayed good through out. A part from the 3 times I cleaned it I never touched it otherwise.

Renovo all the way, they are the only brand I would use on the roof and I did a lot of research before using them for the first time (8 years ago). Note it is expensive but so is the roof and you only do it twice a year.
Had a saab 900 convertible for years and now have an a4 convertible and twice a year would clean the roof - first use the canvas cleaner - it works great,
Then use the Soft top reviver - they do it in blue - this stuff is amazing and makes the roof look like new. My
then finish with ultraproofer and you have a roof ready for 6 months of use.
The only thing is that each step must be finished on the same day and I would recommend washing in the morning, let it dry and then paint it so no new dirt has got in. You could leave it overnight but I wouldn't drive it until it is painted (like waxing a car really).
Ultraproofing can be done later without any issue.
Regards,
Walter.

Is ebay the best and cheapest place to get Renovo roof reviver?

I have been buying it for years directly from renovointernational.com - they don't over charge for delivery to Ireland.

Cheers Walter,
Just worked out that Ebay and Renovo international are the same cost - anyone know retail outlets in London sell it?
