Hi there, I need to replace my front fog light bulbs and looking at the access, I may need to have to remove the front fog light to gain access. Does anyone know of any other way to replace the bulbs ? Or if the removal of the front fog light is the only way, does anyone know how to remove them ? Pictures would help otherwise any information would be greatly appreciated. My car is an A4 2.0l TDI 2005.

Regards,

Matt

Do you want me to get banned? It is forum's policy that information from Elsa can not be posted.I try to help other members,as best i can, and i see no other alternative, than to do so,as i have been doing.A pic from Elsa can explain more than than a verbal explanation especially to members that have little or no knowlege of mechanics. If you find that unstuitable, then this will be my FINAL post!

Rick's a moderator mate; I don't think he'd suggest something if he planned to ban you afterwards. He was just being thoughtful of others who might like to see the information. As far as I know there are no rules against posting guides on here.........

just in case somone is wondering how to actually remove the fog lights and has come upon this thread; I shall explain.

It is very simple you just need a set of star keys,
1) pop off the two side lower grills (surrounding the foglights)
2) using the star key, undo the two screws holding the fog light on
3) pull the whole foglight forwards and twist bulb to remove.

Ahh, maybe it's different for cabs.

The little write-up I just did was for a saloon. It's not a particularly complicated process really, once you you have the grill off you will see which screws you need to remove.
