Filling the Arches

The B7 S-Line standard wheels always seemed to fill the arches very nicely - however the B8 (standard or optional 7-arm) don't seem to have the same 'look' - or is it my imagination.

Anyone got photos of saloon with 7-arm wheels ?

I'll say it for the third time- 19s do suit the B8 more than the 18s, but at what cost to ride comfort I don't know

I have to say that the 19's look like the aftermarket attempts to dolly up the old Skodas. I think they are awful. I was offered a white B8 with 19's but my wife was quick to point out that I don't live in a certain part of South London near Dulwich running a team of ladies that offer recreational activities - not that she put it quite like that.

Audi got it right with the standard S-line wheel in my opinion - but I'll batten down the hatches now ready for the onslaught of offended 19" owners.

Have you seen BMWBig6's Wagon with the new style RS6 wheels on it- that looks really smart?

I know what you mean by the RS4 style wheels being ever so popular though with all manner of VAG cars.

Isn't there only two or so standard options for 19s for new B8 owners though

RS4 Alloys are too common now. Anyway I bet the New RS4 will have different alloys !!

20 Spoke 19s I had no my A4 looked top !! I just do not see many A4 with them which I like.

By the way 19s do fill the arches perfectly

Yeah I liked the wheels on your A4- the BBS ones suit A4s nicely, must have been a right pain in the *** to clean though.

:biglaugh: I have not cleaned a car since I had my SAAB 900 Turbo back in the early 90s.

I had a really good Polish Car Wash near me £10 a week inside and out and they do a bloody good job!
