..The S-line option! Have been on the Audi.co.uk website configuring an A4...but..what happened to the S'line trim option? Only Standard or SE??

Configurator's alwaysbeen crap.

S-lines are still listed in the price guide.

ahh. Yeh I thought it was odd. Maybe just a tech problem then.

I think they are selling a high proportion of S-Lines, i have been waiting 2 weeks for a date on an S-Line door trip after some scallywag broke into mine and scuffed the top of the trim. I complained to Audi CS yesterday and was told i would just have to wait. SE & S-Line must have different door trims as originally the body shop ordered the SE (Wrong one).

Maybe they are attempting to suppress orders.

Yeh I thought that. But then Im sure they wouldn't refuse a sale if you went to an Audi centre and ordered one! weird.

I predict they would accept the sale, quoting normal leads times and it would be delivered as such.

The month or so's lead time would be enough for them to back fill any orders where they're short on stock....although I don't believe there is stock as it's all run on the JIT principle.

A car firm turning down a sale in 2009? I don't think so .... even if they have made record profits last year.
