morse code from ecu?

03 passat est tiptronic,sounds like a relay,or switch tapping out morse code,happens with ignition on/or engine running,is it anything to do with autobox,or just all electronic wizardry!had it plugged into machine,and no faults shown logged in ecu?any opinions accepted,:beerchug:

hi there,i have an 03 manual saloon 2.0,and am getting the same tapping/clicking random noises.i think they are coming from the passanger footwell area.lets hope someone can give some advice.

Sounds like one of the harness splices near the CCM is failing.....
