The wayback machine has an archived copy of their website at http://web.archive.org/web/20071024203950/www.electronicmanuals.co.uk/

I had a quick look, but couldn't find any contact details for them. You could try a whois for the domain, which should have contact details for the domain owner.

Have you tried emailing them? support@electronicmanuals.co.uk

If you don't have any luck, phone your credit card company and ask them for advice. I'm not sure, but they may be able to chargeback the payment.

To be honest, they look a bit dodgy, as some of the software listed on the archived website isn't supposed to be available to the general public.

Looks like they're renewing - it also looks like they're based in Belize :(

Well, I learn something new every day,a nd I've learnt that if you type http://whois.domaintools.com/electronicmanuals.co.uk into your browser, then you get all the information about who registered that domain.

(or any other domain you want to enter)

I've been meaning to find out how to do that for ages.

I too bought a manual through this website and did receive two DVD's to set-up the manual with instructions.

I didnt have time to do it straight away and had got round to setting it up today.

Part of the set-up is to email them with the MAC address and they will email you back the license key to finish the set-up.

I've emailed them a few times with no response, however the emails have not bounced back so they have gone somewhere.

Their website is down as it seems but their domain name is still registered until 2011.

It could be a technical glitch so i'd just keep trying. I'd also monitor transactions on your CC just in case.

For me I have the product I just need the access code..:)

I ordered and paid for a manual from these guys in December last year.
The first thing I told them before I placed the order was that I only use Macintosh.

After I had paid they took over a month to send it...kept saying that they had ..but they hadn't!

When the manual arrived on DVD it was only readable in PC format.

When i complained they denied they had said that it would come in any other format than for PC.

They were extremely rude about it.

After a lot of arguing they agreed that if I sent the DVDs to Dubai they would, once they had checked that I hadn't made copies, refund my money.

I sent them back on the 10th of January and I'm still waiting.

The site hasn't been working for weeks.

They are, in my opinion , a bunch of crooks.

Don't think anyone will get anything back from them.

Be interested to know if anyone has been able to get ANY kind of response from the parent/holding company.

Hmmm... joking aside, it does seem more than a wee bit dodgy. If it was completely dodgy, surely they wouldn't have sent anything out at all? They're certainly not on the ball anyway. I wouldn't provide with any of my details!
