My right back tire is wasting inside

I got a Volkswagen Passat 1.8 year 2000 and my right back tire is being spent on the inside, somebody told me that the shock absorber was not straight, what can I do?

I want to be sure about it can be the problem. (The sochk absorver).

The best thing to do is take the car somewhere that will do a four wheel alignment for you ,once done if there is a problem they will be able to advise
I took the car somewhere and told me that the back wheels can not be alignment because is static.

it could also be anything to do with rear suspension loose nut's or bushes....get it checked out by 4 wheel alaignment....they should also be able to check fo r toe and camber...
