Hello, For many months the turn signal indicators on my Transporter T5 have been playing up.
When turning right, the indicators self cancel the right turn just as they should - but then go on to give three flashes of the left turn indicators. amost as if the return on the stalk is so violent that it overshoots and activates the lane change feature for the left turn.
and vice versa when turning left.
vw have replaced the indicator switch (breaking the wiper switch in the process).
it does not always do this. but it nearly caught me out today as someone pulled out of a side road after i made a right turn, thinking i was making an immediate left turn. it is dangerous. i need to get it fixed.
has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how was it fixed?
