Petrol pump 94' Coupe

Hi all,

Can anyone please tell that on an L reg 94 Coupe 2.0 Liter 16V engine
equipped car which type of fuel pump might be fitted?

Is this an inside tank pump or actually where is this thing fitted?

Started to make noise yesterday and today I think passed out definitely.

Need to turn ignition on about 10 times to start engine.
Sounds like a french frog dying hard :biglaugh:

Would this thing go out of action if dirty petrol was filled at station?

if i remember the fuel pump is fitted under the n/s rear of car directly below rear seat these pumps were modified and had a bigger inlet so the hose from the tank will have to be changed

Actually the pump is in the tank beneath a metal covet etc...

Found access to it but couldn't yet figure out how to remove it from the holding plastic creation...will play with it tomorrow eve.

New ideas are welcome :beerchug:
