I've just been looking at track days, they look fun, I wanna go on one butthink it wouldnt be as much fun on my own! So my bid to you fellow forum-ites is lets do a track day!! Im thinking oulton park,as its not a million miles away from me:biglaugh:


The idea is only in extreme infancy stage at the moment, but Im serious, I want to do one. Anyone else interested?

any idea of cost and what everyone would need, helmets etc? i'd love to do a few laps in the passat so i reckon i'd be up for it :biglaugh:

Helmits wont be much to hire at all, it might even be worthh buying one.You can get new ones as cheap as £30 off ebay, thats what Ill be doing.

And t o actually answer the rest of your question, a helmit and full licence is all you need!!

i'd better get a license then :biglaugh: only joking, yeah mines full and clean somehow? would be getting brakes done before any track shinanigans as i dont want any sort of fade :aargh4:

The best thing to do to give it any chance of even happening is for one of the mediators to get involved and make it an official forum meeting

I think it would be really good though.
