Thanks to a case of freezing rain and an unlucky day,my car is now awaiting the inevitable write off.
I managed to slow my car on a very icy road as everywhere there was carnage!!!. Unfortunelty the car behind did not have the same qulity of brakes as my Audi!!!!
I slowed looked in the rear view mirror and thump, my car is 3 inch+ shorter!!!
No I'm on the hunt, just hope the hunts at the insurance company give me enough money to replace it!!!!

in regards to your replacement, say your model was a cherished version and get one of these to replace it :

glad your not hurt. get yourself to casualty, tell them your neck hurts and youve got a serious whiplash injury. that should net enough dosh for a really nice car.

Very unlucky Rob. Hope the insurance company give you a decent sum.
Was the car that ran into you, a Beamer? :p
Sorry it's the wrong time to joke!
You could get a very decent Octavia TDI for £3k.
Octavia (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2004-54-SKODA-OCTAVIA-TDI-EST_W0QQitemZ230311777596QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomo biles_UK?hash=item230311777596&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A4%7C65%3A7%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318)
I get the feeling you're an Audi man though.

Nice to be in a Italian car again, can't believe there using the same ergonomic dummy for the seating position ;)
It goes and growls great, nice 5 cylinder turbo so loads of low down grunt, but as you expect it still goes better if you drive it Italian style ;)
I'll give a full report when i driven it more ;)
