Where's the fuse box?!

A sort of secondary post to the one I really want answering (how best to replace the wing mirror including cabling)...

Where's the fuse box on the B7 A4 Avant?! The owners manual says it is in the panel to the left of the glove box... I've had a look and it's not so the manual is wrong! Where else should I look?!

Pretty sure it's the same panel just on drivers side- the lads fitting my cruise control were faffing about in that area, and that is where the fuses are on a Passat anyhow.

Embarassingly, I didn't think of that! You'll be right, of course, the manual being written for Germans (LHD) and all that the picture I saw will be next to the steering wheel, not the glove box.
