Wake up fellas the hint is in the domainame. However if you did not watch Top Gear it probably still makes no sense. Which petrolhead does not watch Top Gear http://www.windowsguide.org/forum/images/smilies/cool-smiley-030.gif

They set fire to a Morris Marina a week ago last Sunday. They had a few complaints from Morris Marina owners so this Sunday they dropped a piano on one.

Is no one going to say anything about the male chicken and the Audi rings?

Some of us are actually in cars or in the garage playing with cars rather than sat on the tv watching someone else telling you about cars.

Im regularly to be found in my workshop at silly times of the night, but never, repeat NEVER, during top gear.
note to self: get TV for workshop.

Me too. :(

I really would like to come up with something witty to say back to Clarkson, I like him and Top Gear, but I disagree with him this time!

One could say the exact same about being sat on the sofa watching the television

As above Paul. I have never really bought a car in my life Clarkson would approve of. I would not waste your time, take it as it is an opinion. Just because Clarkson says it everyone takes it as truth.

I too love watching Jezza but he is a right **** all the time and contradicts himself an awful lot. I feel rather bad that I fancy an F355 as Clarkson likes them, they must be ****.

He probably wouldn't approve of much I've bought, well not recently.

He might have liked my old Minis, Rolls-Royce, Ford Capri, Granada 2.8, Jaguars and Mercedes but definitely nothing from recent times.

But I'm not about to change my car because of his view, I like my Audi too much! And what's better, it's impressed my with its drive, refinement and reliability (touch wood) that I will probably buy another one!

I really should have Clarkson's job. Or at least Hammond or May's. :p

Having driven a 1.3 Marina (borrowed it off my mums neighbour) i can say whole heartedly burning and dropping piano's on these cars is for the best.

I'm sure the one i borrowed was a friday afternoon car, bits fell of it on a regular basis, the engine was pants (the 1.8 wasn't much better) it leaked oil and was just generally cack. :rocketwho

Now this is personally my opinion not just TG's but each to their own.

I love old skool mk1 and mk2 escorts preferably RS's Lotus cortina's and the like. I owned a MK2 RS2000 for over 12 years and bits fell of it, it leaked oil, more welding than i care to think about but it was heavily modified and went like stink (i used to hunt down and devour BMW 325's for fun on the autobahns :AR15firin) but there you go each to their own. :biglaugh:
