80 Coupe rear wiper stopping

Hi All

On my 1990 2.0 coupe the rear wiper sometimes stops / stutters mid screen. Any ideas why and how to fix it ?

I read about somebody curing theirs, the drive mechanism is greased when it is built, but the grese goes solid over time, so there is a lack of lubrication. A stripdown and fresh grease should fix it if this is the case?
Mine is also doing this lately - another job for the hols...
