dont know the answer to your question but anything that happens more than once is to many times.... So in no way settle for this and contact Audi direct for assistance.
you do NOT need to drive a car every day full stop, so ignore this stupid advice...

I had the same problem. I never had a dead battery nor starting problems because I charged it when necessary, but the voltage was too low, even after a long drive. I still wondered if it wasn't caused by cold weather or not driving enough... When starting the car I got a warning message that the battery was too low and that driving the car would fix it. Yet it always started without hesitation. Finally contacted my dealer and they fixed it immediately. It is a known problem. I got a bigger battery and a few software updates. Some changes were for better battery charging or battery management. This was done after last winter. Maybe your problem is fixed too by now?
any car built in the last 10 years should turn over no problem even if you haven't driven it in a month.
Get onto Audi, don't bother with the dealer anymore. Let audi do that.

My B7 can stand up to 6 weeks while im working away and fires up first time,Jan 06 with origional battery. The dealer should be doing a full battery test, specific gravity and load test, and also a charging rate check.Another thing for them to do is check that the discharge when everything is turned off isnt over the recommended amps. The Canbus may not be `going to sleep` on a particular control unit when the car is locked.

I picked up my car and the battery was flat, same thing happend a week later. i had the car checked out everything was fine all systems shuting down and the alternator charging, i told audi this was not acceptable and they got in touch with the main audi cetre and they agreed to change it no problems since.;)
