Touran Headlight Washers

The Headlight washers on my 57 Plate Touran have stopped working.

Have checked the headlight washer relay fuse and it is fine.

Any ideas Guys?

You need to have a scan of the “onboard supply control unit -J519” where the operation of the system can be checked in Output Tests using something like VAG-COM. To test the motor function, remove the relay (one with “53” on top) and jump across sockets 2 and 8 (corresponding to 30 and 87 on the relay). If the pump runs, the problem is in the J519 or the switch. Isn’t the car still under warranty?

Yes car still under warranty, just wondering if the cause could be something simple I could sort out at home.

Guess a trip to the dealers is on the cards.
