Don’t just change the bushes, change the bar-it will be worn out under the bushes and will start rattling again within weeks, I fit loads of them. To change the bushes or the bar you have to drop the subframe which means disconnecting the rack from the subframe and then lowering the subframe down and leaving it hanging on the wishbones. All four subframe bolts and rack bolts MUST be replaced as they are one time only.

How long would you estimate this job to take the average person to do crasher?

It takes me an hour and a half then on top of that there is around half an hour for checking and adjusting the camber and tracking. Doing the job on your back with axle stands and a trolley jack, well that would take me three hours as I hate working like that.

Crasher, any ideas how much the bushes and anti-roll bars would cost?

Between £65 and £74 for the bar depending on the diameter fitted (probably 23-mm, £74) and £5 for each bush, the clips are £7 each. The 4 bolts for the subframe are about £18 and the four rack bolts are £8.
