Hi,
Does anybody know anywhere where I can get the following airbag fault repaired without being ripped off in the Blackburn/Bolton area? Thank you

Probably a faulty steering wheel contact ring so have that replaced first, as to where in your area I can’t recommend, sorry.

Cars without ESP, the ring is 1J0 959 653 C and costs £51, is reasonably easy to fit once you have got the air bag off (easy when you know how, evil when you don’t) and does not need setting up.
Cars with ESP, the ring is 1J0 959 654 AG and costs £180 and on top off removing the air bag, it must be set up (when using VAG-COM, this can only be done using a registered copy) using this procedure
