sharan starting problems

i have a 1996 sharan 1.9tdi 1z engine, the problem is it doesnt allways start it seems an intermittent fault with the immobiliser, when the outside temp is below 4 degrees the immob. cuts in i have access to obd equipment and code p1570 ecm locked is stores in there, i have replaced the temp sender and relay 109 but the problem is still there, i dont understand why the immob would be affected by low temp. when the temp. is above 4 degs. is starts fine. anyone else had this or a similr problem..?

finaly got to the route of the problem it was the immob. control module, removed it from the car and went round all the joints on the pcb with a soldering iron and bingo problem solved..!
