installing cable to ceiling console

i am trying to get a power supply to the top of the windscreen on a 2007 passat TDI, in order to mount a Road Angel compact there, i am also fitting a Nokia bluetooth microphone in the car and was thinnking of using the centre console above the mirror, it seems to have an area for a microphone built in. (dont want to fork out for a factory fit car kit costing £££).

i have fitted the same kit to other vehicles but the new passat seems to have curtain airbags in the windscreen pillars so i probably dont want to tamper with these:confused: .

Hi I too would like to fit my Road Angel compact in the same spot (except on a Mk V Golf....how did you get on?
