MMI Version

Hi,

Had the car back from the dealer today after they had applied a variety of software updates.

I'm trying to see whether they updated the MMI software -- but am finding it difficult to tell.

How do I find out what version my MMI is?

The only info I can find is in the Car > setup screen which says HW: H11 and SW: 0130 (which were the same before and after the update).

generation 3 radio has no update but software version management conversion where as mmi has cd rom based updates via the cd changer.This updates the sw versions on the most bus network for example ami and phone prep.Press set up and return and the hidden menu will display the menu with the sw versions and yours looks like plain old generation 3 radio version (poor mans spec)lol.What do wont to no exactly or are you just playing about the workshop actions carried out should be stamped up in the back of your service book and also on the foc invoice post the action numbers and i will tell you what is what

I have a Audi concert radio in my B8 (built late 2007) and pressing setup and return simultaneously together doesn't do anything.

Any other ideas?

Just looked at that for my question as well. My screen doesn't look anything like that in the book, on the link. Looks like I only have AMI then. Comes wup with some HW and SW codes, think SW was 0150 or something.

Oh well, keep trying:aargh4:
