That is going to annoy a number of people on here who wanted LEDs on their SE a few months ago! These are the adaptive ones aswell. I wonder why they changed this for the UK, I think it was always an option on the European spec.

I expect that some idiot at Audi thought: "Let's wait for the initial rush of orders to clear and then p*** them all off by offering the one decent safety 'must-have' option".

Yes, this would have gone onto my SE order. Oh well.

It's going to p*ss off those like me who perhaps selected an S-Line because of the lights.

bit of a blonde question but are the S-line lights adaptive?

Wow going to be a lot of annoyed customers out there! Strange that it was always an option abroad but not in UK.

Its only usually affects the UK as i suspect we are more prone to buy the 'snazzy/Gadget' items. I am one of them, one of the main reasons i went up to the s-line was for the lights.

Still waiting for mine now 9 weeks gone and not happy they have changed this.

I actually liked the idea of keeping them exclusively to the S line models!!

they did have them on the first launch SE models. I think having them on the s-line exclusive was fair...you paid the money you got something to show for it...now thats unfair.

I went for the S-Line Avant and the Xenon lights were a primary reason. I might well have ordered an SE with Xenon option had that been available. mmm.....

Also note that Privacy glass is now an option on Avant, wasn't a couple of months ago. I'd have gone for that as well.

Oh well......still waiting for mine anyway.

I do not have a problem with the S-Line package as i believe you do get a set of extra's for a price, what is unfair is that it was an option (for a price) on the SE and then it was removed. I understand that its sales practice to try and get all the money they can out of your purchase but sometimes you push future purchases away with this practice.

I guess the next question is - can you *really* order them or is it another (cough) mistake in the brochure.

I think Audi are taking the Pi** They are only offering the Adaptive Xenons + DRL's at a hefty £1100 not the standard ones which come wth the S-Line

I think its nice to have these on the options list, would I have them? no, not at £1100, but then I could have had them in the Passat for £800 and didnot.

Just glad the 170 TDI engine was added in September, now Audi just give me a date when mine will be delivered! not much to ask...
