Hello,
I have a 1.6L 2002 Automatic golf, with about 140km. I have a strange issue with my reverse gear when the car is not being used for few hours (especially at mornings when cold) , When I shift to reverse I have to wait about 30secs to 1min or more until I get my gear engaged, If the car got the reverse in, then it is no problem shifting from drive to reverse later on when driving.
Also, sometimes (dunno if also when cold I think this happens generally) when I put to Drive mode, I get no gear shifted until I press the gas for a little bit, I don't know if it should be like that but the rest is working prefect when driving.... shifting if fine and smooth for all 1-4 Gear shifts...
