Just in case anyone is interested, collected my new BB Storm on Friday it paired straight away with the RNS-E/Bluetooth module on my B7 Avant and has worked faultlessly since! :D Happy days!
Still not totally convinced it's any better that the BB Pearl for what I use it for though but it certainly looks cool enough.
