Fast-forward to 1 minute 30 seconds (1:30) in the following video, and you will see some kind of sliding tray in the luggage compartment:

I don't see it on any of the accessory catalogs. At first I thought the person in the video was placing her suitcase directly on top of the adjustable track organizers, but then later on in the video you can see her grip a handle at the front (actually the rear) of the tray to slide it deeper in the luggage compartment. Exactly what part is this, and where can I get it?
Load area rail system..... it shows on the audi uk configuator

Huh? I am familiar with that option, but it includes telescoping partitions. Does it now include a sliding tray?
The UK configurator describes the "Load area rail system and fixing kit" as including "load area rails, telescopic bar and securing belt for dividing the luggage compartment."
I thought it might be the "Storage Pack" but that only includes "storage nets on the front-seat backrests, storage compartment under the front seats (if memory function is fitted, only under the front-passenger seat), drinks holder in the rear centre armrest and a locking glove compartment."
The woman in the video clearly pushed a sliding tray with handle. Maybe this never made production?
I looked on the cofigurator and clicked on the option, it shows a pic
of the boot floor, looks like there are some sort of rail system in the floor.

Right, it looks like this, but where is the sliding tray featured in the video? Or did the woman prop up the floor bottom on top of the telescoping beam (improvised sliding tray)?

I've looked at the video again, it looks like the is some kind of shelf thats above the boot floor and running in the slots for the load system.

Yeah, that's the same conclusion I reached. Could be an optical illusion though. So any idea what part this is (if an official Audi accessory)?
I have no idea if its an accessory.
Don't think its an illusion, if you look closely you can see the boot floor under the shelf.
It's not a shelf - it's simply the containing rail that comes as part of the luggage storage set. There is no shelf.
The only thing is that it doesn't move quite that easily and even if it did, it would only slide back like that if the case she put in the car was made of paper mache.bb

Ok, I need to be admitted to a mental hospital because my eyes are playing tricks on me. I distinctly see a raised shelf with grip handle in the video. I found a higher quality video of the same footage:
Auto Week video (http://www.autoweek.nl/videodisp.php?id=788&cache=no) (Jump to 00:23 seconds into the video)
Now you have me questioning my eyes! That does look like a shelf sliding back. However, when the case is put down, it really does look like the boot floor. I am baffled.

I have the load restraint system which is as the photograph above. A telescopic beam which can be moved up and down the two rails that are shown running from front to rear. A second pair of uprigts run on one of the rails, you choose which side, with a sprung loaded belt (like a seat belt but twice as deep) which can also be used to secure items.
The sliding floor tray in the video looks neat, but it is not part of the UK load restaint system. The floor is fairly rigid, carpet one side platic the other. Would be interested to hear from non UK Avant owners with this sliding floor panel.
