View Full Version : Sorry Stuart!!

I think an apology is in order chaps. No one has gone out of their way to be a twonk or cause a nuisance of themselves, but I think collectively we managed it!
We killed the rep system before it was due to be decommissioned & let it be known, accidentally, that we'd come from VWAF to wind up the bimmerforum, albeit in the name of fun rather than malice. I didn't take part in that, but that was only because I wasn't around at the time & I was one of the first to encourage the idea so have to take a bit of the rap as well.
I'm sure there was no intention from anyone to cause difficulties for Stuart & the forum generally, but nonetheless we did, so for that I apologise & anyone else who agrees should add to this.
The forum is great, both for practical reasons with the wealth of technical knowledge, broad spectrum of opinions and the humour and clowning about that make it a source of entertainment as well & none of us would deliberately cause any hardship or damage to it.
So, very simply, Stuart, I'm sorry if we've caused you any hassle.
Dudey.

I'm very sorry aswell and although at the time it was funny on reflection we were abusing our status on here and possibly tarnishing our forum's reputation as one of the best out there.
In hindsight as I said to one of the mods last night it was very silly and we've probably given our beloved forum a bit of bad press by the Bimmerforums invasion stunt, so considering that we regard our forum as a cut above the rest was very silly.
We're ambassador's (no not the cars Dudey) for our forum and should behave accordingly, lets start again as we mean to go on and not abuse the position we're in.

Apologies Stuart.
I can only reiterate what's been said above, and hope that you can forgive our infractions.

I'd like to add my apologies for helping to break the rep system. It's a shame it didn't because the concept is a good one.
I would be apologising for the bimmerforums invasion, but i was working away from the internet that day and missed it, so I'm in the clear for that one.
I'd also like to add that this is one of the best forums I've been on, and to keep up the good work.

I did & that's why I though it decent & right to apologise. :p
I think I better tell Uncle Christopher all about it! Maybe not...
What have you knobbers been up to?
Also not involved in either incident, so I can and will claim the moral higher ground and say that you are all idiots and hope the Sith Lord is lenient with you.
If I had my way, I'd have you all out at dawn on a cold frosty morning in your underpants and have Captain Answer give you all a damned good thrashing with stinging nettles.
:firedevil
Me and the Captain will milk this for all it is worth...... you fools !

I only said sorry for being a bit of a twonk for contributing to the chaos! By all means move on. Like we were saying about people complaining about Clarkson et al, you don't have to watch/ read anything you don't want to. Just change the channel! ;) :p :D
