Looking at a v6.

Just wondering - looking at a 2.5 tdi v6 tomorrow and would like to know at what mileage the cambelts need changing , if anybody has any advice on these or anything else to watch out for I would love to know. Thanks Pete.

First one needs doing at 80k, second one 60k or 4-5 years wichever comes first. Rubber belts perish with age so ignore what the book says, there are many things that can fail on a v6 engine...Replace the water pump and the thermostat while at it...See me other treads about cambelt replacements.
